Australian tennis is in the midst of a promising bright patch with success stories such as Alexei Popyrin and Olivia Gadecki capturing the headlines.
But quietly going about their business under the radar are two Australians who have found themselves in the form of their lives.
27-year-old Omar Jasika captured his fourth consecutive title this month at the ITF M25 Darwin to extend his winning streak by a mind-blowing 22 games.
Having dropped his first set of the tournament against fellow Australian James Watt to trail one set in the final, Jasika rallied back to claim a 1-6, 6-3, 6-4 victory.
The result confirms a clean sweep in Darwin and Bali, triumphant in 18 out of those 22 outings in straight sets.
Having travelled to Indonesia for a holiday, Jasika decided to enter the Bali ITF F4 event and go through qualifying at the last minute - beginning an extraordinary run of form.
Western Australian talent Talia Gibson kept her winning run intact to claim the ITF W75 in Perth, now unbeaten in 10 matches.
The 20-year-old top seed defeated Japan's Eri Shimizu in yesterday's final by a scoreline of 6-2, 6-4 which wrapped up her seventh ITF singles title.
Furthermore, Gibson achieved a career-high ranking of No.129 in the world, advancing 14 spots in the WTA rankings.
She won another ITF W75 event in her hometown last week to ensure back-to-back titles and an impressive string of results as 2024 nears the end.
"You have to give so much credit to [past] experiences," Gibson told The First Serve last week after her title win. "Having been on the tour for a couple of years and having so many experiences, now being able to say that I've played in all four Grand Slams has just been so amazing.
"I have such an amazing team behind me, so [I'm] super grateful to them and all the work they do with me. I've learned so many things that have definitely been so important to the development of my game."
