After exiting the Miami Open, 17-year-old sensation Mirra Andreeva revealed disgusting messages received on her Instagram account.
The Russian talent was on a 13-match win streak thanks to back-to-back WTA 1000 titles in Dubai and Indian Wells before facing Amanda Anisimova, losing out to the American 7-6(5) 2-6 6-3.

Andreeva later posted a story on Instagram showing hate comments from random accounts, writing the caption: "And this is what you get when you lose 1 match."
"You look@like a man! Wtf! Deserve WORST CANCC3e exist," wrote one person.
Another comment read: "Such a stupid play brainless player ever."
Andreeva deleted her Instagram story shortly after posting.
In December 2023, the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) launched a monitoring service known as Threat Matrix with the goal of better protecting players from online abuse.
The system uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to scan activity on all social media platforms to help detect abusers and offer support for players.
It comes as Britain's Emma Raducanu was left in tears mid-match in Dubai last month after a stalker was present in the crowd.
The former US Open champion has deleted her Instagram account.
