Alex de Minaur has fallen agonizingly short of reaching his second Masters 1000 final going down to Italian Lorenzo Musetti 6-1, 4-6, 6-7(2) in the semi finals in Monte Carlo.
It was the perfect start for the aussie in just 37 minutes taking the first set 6-1, but as Alex explained to The First Live after the match, the change in weather didn't help his cause, but also reflected on his own execution when it counted most.
Musetti will take on favourite Carlos Alcaraz in the final on Sunday in the biggest match of his career with the match brought forward to 12 Midday, three hours earlier than the scheduled start, due to expected rain
