Maya Joint notched up a WTA Tour win for the second straight week on Day 2 in Hobart.
The 18-year-old dispatched world No.53 Olga Danilović 6-2 6-3 in just under 90 minutes.
It follows Joint’s run in Brisbane, where she defeated compatriot Maddison Inglis before falling to Victoria Azarenka in three tight sets.
Joint was pleased to show that last week wasn’t a one-off.
"It feels really good that it wasn’t just a one-time, two-time fluke – that I could do it again," she said.
"[Brisbane] helped me feel that I was at that level, and I tried to take confidence from it. I knew I didn’t really have any pressure on me."

Danilović was coming off her best season yet where she finished the year with a WTA title in Guangzhou, China.
Joint not only had to overcome the Serbian, but also the windy Hobart weather.
"I think I played the conditions pretty well, with the wind," said the world No.114.
"I was just trying to have big margins, extra spin on the ball and more footwork."
This is Joint’s third WTA Tour-level win and the highest by ranking to date.
She next faces fourth-seed and 2023 Australian Open semi-finalist Magda Linette.
They will play first up on centre court today.
Saville crashes out in tough match-up
Aussie Daria Saville had a tough draw facing American third-seed Amanda Anisimova.
Anisimova won through to the second round with a straight sets 6-3 6-3 win.
It’s a tough loss for Saville, who made the semi-finals of the tournament last year.
The 30-year-old drops 12 spots to No.124 in the live rankings. However, she will hope for a better result as a wildcard in next week’s Australian Open.
In other notable matches, former Australian Open champion Sofia Kenin overcame New Zealand’s Lulu Sun 4-6 6-3 6-3.
Top-seed Dayana Yastremska came from behind to defeat American Katie Volynets 2-6 6-4 6-1.
Elsewhere, former US Open champion Sloane Stephens went down to compatriot Ann Li 7-5 6-1.
