AUSSIES COMMAND ITF TOUR WITH 10 TITLES

An incredible couple of days for Australia's contingent saw 10 ITF titles handed out in another dominant week.

ITF M25 Cairns top seed Omar Jasika is in the form of his career, claiming his fifth consecutive title to improve his unbeaten record to an astonishing 27 matches.

His 6-3 6-4 win against Aussie Marc Polmans ensures Jasika a career-high ranking of No.186.

24-year-old Destanee Aiava continues to impress as she picked up her seventh career ITF singles title at the W35 Cairns, defeating compatriot Maddison Inglis 6-2 4-6 7-5.

The victory extends Aiava's record in 2024 to 42 wins in 66 matches, who caught up with The First Serve's Brett Phillips after qualifying for the US Open main draw in August.

China's Hangzhou Challenger saw top seed James Duckworth clinch his 11th career Challenger title against America's Mackenzie McDonald.

The 31-year-old's impressive come-from-behind 2-6 7-6(5) 6-4 win moves him six spots in the live rankings to No.69, 23 places shy of his career-best.

In Spain, second-seed Matthew Dellavedova wrapped up his third ITF crown by taking out Yaroslav Demin 6-3 1-6 6-1 at the M15 Pontevedra.

Cruz Hewitt is taking the spotlight in his stride, securing his seventh career junior ITF title to clinch the J100 in Christchurch without dropping more than two games in a set for the tournament.

His father and former world No.1, Lleyton Hewitt, detailed Cruz's tough journey earlier this week.

In the same tournament, 16-year-old Giselle Isabella Guillen from Sydney claimed the girls' singles title against fellow Aussie Scarlett Dattoli 3-6 6-3 6-3.

17-year-old Ava-Monet Sycamore won her first ITF junior girls' singles title thanks to a 6-3 6-0 triumph at the J60 Lautoka in Fiji. South Australian Jeffrey Stydom, 15, also won his first ITF junior boys' singles title at the same event.

In doubles action, Jaimee Fourlis picked up her fourth ITF doubles title in 2024 alongside American partner Kayla Day in the ITF W75 Edmond in the States.

An all-Aussie affair in the ITF W35 women's doubles final in Cairns saw top seeds Alana Parnaby and Petra Hule win their second-straight final, defeating Destanee Aiava and Alexandra Bozovic 3-6 6-2 10-2.
