The 2025 Australian Open wheelchair draws were held on Sunday at Melbourne Park where a contingent of Aussies learned their round one matchups.
Wheelchair Singles:
The 16-player men's wheelchair singles draw holds just one Australian, in Anderson Parker, who received a wildcard into the main draw.
The Aussie received the unfortunate draw of top-seed and reigning champion Tokito Oda first up in what will be a significant challenge.
Brit Alfie Hewitt will headline the bottom half of the draw as the second seed, seeking to regain the title at Melbourne Park after triumphing in 2023.
Full Men's Draw:
On the women's side, no Aussies will feature in the main draw, where Yui Kamiji and Aniek Van Koot hold the respective top two seeds.
Kamiji will be looking to overturn her recent Grand Slam final hoodoo having lost her past ten - including the 2024 Australian Open - all to the legendary Diede de Groot who is absent in 2025.

Quad Singles:
A contingent of Australian men will headline the quad wheelchair draw; an event where we have historically enjoyed success, largely through the work of Dylan Alcott.
Heath Davidson - who has won four Australian Open doubles titles alongside Alcott - will be the top-ranked Aussie in action and will face compatriot wildcard Jin Woodman first up.
The third Aussie in the draw is 23-year-old Finn Broadbent who also received a wildcard and will commence his second Australian Open campaign against fourth seed Ahmet Kaplan.
The top seeds in the quad draw will be defending champion Sam Schroder (No.1), and Niels Vink (No.2) who took down Schroder in last year's Wimbledon final.
